I bought the SWITCHBACK PANT a couple weeks ago. On the sizing it was different. I got a XLT and they fit good. Is a XLT in the Element going to run smaller?

Hey kendall..I’m going to be needing the pivot or the assault shirt..we had talked about it when I ordered these last time..so whatever one you think is better…hopefully you still have some in large somewhere!
To the rest of Camofire people buy these you won’t regret it..the pattern looked even better in person and the fabric inside and out is awesome..I’m 6’2 and 175-180 and wear a 33 and the large fits great! Can’t wait till Sept first when my vacation starts to hit up the elk woods

I measured the Switchback and Element pants both in large reg. and here are the #’s
The waist buttoned and layed flat, Element 17 1/2″, Switchback 18 1/4″. Top of waist to crotch still flat, Element 10 1/4″, Switchback 11″. Top of waist to bottom of leg still flat, Element 42 1/4″, Switchback 45″. Hope this may help. I wear in Cinch Green lable jeans a 33×34 and can wear both of these pants fine.

In regards to the sitka gear jacket, which model does the core 4 element jacket compare to? I have the sitka 90% jacket but would have liked to get the Celsius jacket. How does this compare? I bought the element pants and really like them.

This core4element pant and jacket is the real deal, and the guys at camofire back up their product. I would have been happy with this gear at full price but for 50% it’s one of the better deals I have gotten on quality hunting apparel.
The garmets are quiet, fuctional and the camo pattern is really nice. Rubberized waist holds pants up. Knee pads for the spot and stock hunter is a really nice touch. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t.
If your at all worried about making an order for this stuff don’t be.

The Element Jacket is built for a more tailored fit, so I think the XL Jacket would work great for you. Like always though if you feel it is too large keep the tags on and you can exchange it for a large.

Eric T. The Element series is warmer than the Switchback but is not for cold weather. THey are perfect for 40-70 degrees temp range. I used mine scouting elk last weekend and the morning started at 50 degrees and got up to 85 and i was fine wearing these pants. They work great for timbered elk hunts. Also unlike the open bottom cuffs of the Switchback pants they have cinchers at the bottom so you can close them up tight.

I would go with the Large Tall…the large may be long enough but having a pair of pants that is too short is annoying. I wear 32-34X34 depending on pants and I wear the Large Tall’s and they are perfect.
