Kendall, any C4E t-shirts in the works? I have both the pivot and assault shirts and love both the fabric and MM camo, but every September seems to get warmer instead of cooler so I was hoping C4E would come out with a t-shirt for us late summer archery elk hunters. Jeff – still waiting for more to arrive. WE only have Med and XXL so I opted not to bring them into the line up. I’ll clear those out in the coming week or two so that we have a clean slate when the next batch arrives (I think early Aug, hopefully sooner).

Does anyone know anything about the Bibs? They are not shown on Core4′s website, and a google search didn’t show anything. I am guessing they must be a new product.
Do they have 2 way stretch? fully articulated knees? etc…

Eric, they are a limited run from last year – not a regular item. Camofire got the nod to clear them out after the winter months. They’ve been up on Camofire before, should be able to search on here for them in the past deals. They are in the same weather family as the Sitka Incinerator line, but use synthetic loft fill instead of down.
I bought a set, they run a hair small IMO, my normal XL is a snug XL in these, not a roomy fit. They are VERY well made, and seem to be a great add for winter stalk and sit, suited for sitting in the cold more than humping hills. The pattern is Mountian Mimicry, and a darker shade due to the material. Pretty quiet finish on the outer layer, haven’t tested the water repel. I’d like to see Core4 run these in the regular line-up. They were a very good price for the product, JMO and 2 cents.

Thanks Greg. I think I might go for them if they have my size. Did they ever make a jacket to go with it? The normal Element Jacket doesn’t have the Primoloft in it, so it seems like they would have made a warmer jacket to work in conjunction with it.

I’d get the jacket and bibs together if you can swing the funds/spouse approval, they are well designed as a set and are made to last. The cut of the jacket is made to fit over and seal in heat from the tops of the bibs. The bibs have more of a waist fit than most “bag” fit overalls. I liked the cut, it was closer to a wearable feel in XL than the typical big guy “baggy” @zz square cut you get in other brands. JMO!

And mentioning funds, today alone, I bought the Assault Shirt, Switchback pants, Element Pants and Element coat. (I already have 2 pairs of the wool shirts). I don’t know how I will be able to afford these as well, but IF I buy the Bib, I would only buy it if I could get the coat too, since it isn’t a regular production item. I would hate to never be able to complete the set.

Aaron, I own both the Sitka Traverse T and the C4E Assault Top. The Stitching on both shirts is superb. The Sitka Shirt has a chest pocket, while the Assault top has a nice Bicep pocket. They both come in handy, I guess it’s just up to preference to which is more convenient. I like the Sitka T because it is warm and has a snug fit and thumb holes for a base layer for colder weather. The Assault top is considerably lighter and in my opinion more breathable, longer length, perfect as a standalone shirt for warmer weather, and if you layer under it, it can work in mild to cold temps. In my opinion the Assault top is way more comfortable, when I got mine I couldn’t take it off, even slept in the thing. My Girlfriend through a fit because I was wearing it everywhere, its honestly one of my favorite shirts now. I only wish they came in solids to wear to work. The nice thing about the Assault top is the price, can’t beat it, Sitka is overpriced in my opinion, just my 2 cents.

***********ONE CHANGE TO CORE4ELEMENT PANTS:************
The sizes on the pants for 2012 will be 30, 32T, 34, 34T, 36, 36T, 38, 40, 42, 44 So order the exact size AS YOUR WAIST. Notice I didn’t say as your Wranglers, Levis, etc as they are all different.
PLEASE take a moment to measure your waist with a tape because the tape does not lie. Then order accordingly. Inseam is 33″ regular and 35″ for tall on the 34T and 36T with the 32T being a little shorter at 31.5″ for the regular and 33.5″ for the tall.

ALSO – FOR TODAY the Element Jacket will include the Stalker Beanie and the Element Pants will include the Talus Belt.

After not seeing the switchback pant in size large in m.m. I was sceptical that the element jacket would be available in my size and in m.m. Camofire came through and I got the jacket after months of waiting. Thanks guys!!! BEST website ever!!!

Ok so the pants do not come with the jacket. My wife just ran in the room asking me to measure her to see if she would fit in the small. Whew she almost pulled the trigger twice. I am glad i came to the forums first. Description was a lil too good to be true.
