Does core4 make a ballcap style hat? I purchased the pants and jacket from camofire earlier in the week and am very impressed. I just ordered the assault shirt today. All I am missing now are the baselayers and a ballcap. It would be nice to complete the set!!

What is the “weight” or thickness of this shirt? Can you give us an example of what it compares to? Is it as thick as underarmour hurlock or maybe as thick as the sitka traverse top? Just curious about what niche in my layering system this could fill.

Great question, sorry I wasn’t around to answer. It’s just a bit thinner than the Traverse from Sitka. I’m not familiar with the hurlock from UA. I see myself using this shirt as a stand alone for cooler days when a real lightweight shirt is not enough but would layer under it with a thin merino base layer that is form fitted. I’ve worn the Tundra from Russell and some days it’s just flat out too warm, which is why I think I’ll really like the Assault shirt.

Somebody else mention it but it would sure be nice to get a mm camo ball cap from core4element. Even if they just did a logo type hat in black or charcoal I think they would sell. Seems to be a ton of great reviews on the brand and it would only help spread their brand. I have 5 pieces of core4element gear and it all is top notch. Keep us posted!
