You won’t see IR without night vision equipment.
The green light is recommended for entering/exiting the woods, but makes blood black.
Blue light can bring the blood out better, but make spook game.

David, they will be back up again. Running low on some flavors but for sure I’ll bring them back. With deer hunting starting in most of the east this weekend I’m sure guys could use a reliable headlamp for going in/coming out of the woods.
Thanks Greg for your comments above. He’s spot on regarding IR – you need to have a camera or night vision. I prefer red or green going into the woods. Haven’t tried blue, but surprisingly it’s recommended by more folks than I would have thought.

Funny you should ask. Long story with that brand. We first spoke with them and they were going to have Camofire sell their gear on a pre-run basis prior to year 1. That fell through so we forged a relationship with Core4 after that. With their exclusive with Cabela’s I doubt we could have any Kryptek deals but I’ll do my best.

Got the switchback pants a few weeks ago. Sizing runs a little small. I wear a 34 in jeans and the 36 fits about right if not a tad small. Length is good. It says in the description, but they are pretty thin. not much to them. Hunted in the rain this past weekend and got a little wet, they are not rain pants but just sayin. Pockets are great. Not too baggy, great for archery! love the camo pattern!

Does anyone know how true to size the switchback and element is? I wear a perfect 32″ in all my jeans.. I’m not planning on layering them.. Wonder if 32′s will work or if I should get one size larger…

Josh – you need to measure with a tape and then order by the tape. Hard to say if a 32″ jean is really 32″. The Switchback and Element pants are very true to the tape.
