Made with a heavy-duty, highly-constructed Repel-Tex fabric that is treated with a revolutionary wax finish for exceptional water and wind resistance. This new type of jacket treatment adheres to the fabric substantially better than traditional waxing yet it will remain unchanged over time and multiple washings.
The plush and warm 650-fill goose down insulation provides incredible warmth and the durable nylon lining won’t allow the down to poke through. The cut is a bit longer to ensure weather protection. The Santa Fe Jacket features a fleece-lined, down-filled collar with a full-length front zipper and snap closure storm flap. I have seen the Sante Fe jacket on here a couple times. I’m a little trigger shy because I’ve never seen one in person. Can anyone tell me how they like them? Would it keep me warm and dry in nasty waterfowl conditions or is it more of a insulating layer for cold days in the goose blind? Looks like they go pretty fast in the camo color.

Sorry this is too late for you to make an informed decision on the Santa Fe. Either it will reaffirm your decision to pull the trigger or help you next time. I have 2 of the jackets, couldn’t pass on the price. I am very happy with their rugged outer layer (not too worried over snags) and they keep me very warm. I have not sat in a blind with them but have used them on several camping trips and been very happy.
