After a hiatus from the HUNT SUCCESS Photo Contest last year, we are bringing it back to celebrate the 2011 hunt. While this may be a little late getting this contest started we wanted to give the late season hunters a chance to participate. Plus, better late than never, right!??
CONTEST: We want to see your hunting photos from the 2011 season. Email your photos to Ross at rsevy at camofire dot com and he will up load them to the Facebook Photo Album titled 2011 Hunt Success Photo Contest. After all the images are in the Camofire crew will hole up in Kendall’s office until we emerge with the winners picked. There will also be a Customers Choice Award that you can participate in. The winner of this will be the picture in the Facebook 2011 Hunt Success photo album with the most “likes” on their picture. So gather up your friends and have them vote. – Check the Camofire Facebook Page for what images have been uploaded
THE DETAILS/RULES: First you need to be a customer of Camofire.com to participate. Second, each photo that is submitted needs to include something you’re either wearing or using that you’ve purchased from Camofire.com (We will check!! LOL) When you submit the photo, let us know what item(s) from Camofire you were using on your hunt.
DATES: The Contest starts today 2/1/12 and will end at 11:59pm MST on Friday 2/10/11. The winners will be announced on Monday 2/13/12 at high noon, Mountain Standard Time. We’re not so concerned with the photo featuring a trophy animal, but we hope the photo not only features your success but your passion. If you need to tell a story about the photo, please add a comment about the photo.

1ST PLACE: BADLANDS OX FRAME PACK – Your choice of Large AP, Large Max 1 or Med Max 1.
2ND PLACE: NIKON RIFLE 1000 RANGEFINDER

here is a picture of the roosevelt i harvested. its not the biggest bull but the story behind it is CRAZY! i was 5 miles in on my bike and trailer. when i spotted him had to ride up a hill to get to him so i through my pack out of my trailer, not thinking about my calls that were in my pack. so i got to him as he was starting to head back to his cows. so i thought OH CRAP! i dont have my calls! so i used my mouth, yes just my lips and cow called. he turned around bugled and ran from 160 into 50 yards and i double lunged him, he walk 40 yards up the road and died in it, and notice what i was wearing, drenched in sweat with the wind blowing 10 to 15 mph right to him! but luckily over his head. and i got it all on camera with my epic action camera that i got off camofire! i tryed to upload it but the file was to big. it got to dark to film but all the audio is there! UNBELIEVABLE!
